We Love Our Library Campaign Starts April 7th

(EAST CHICAGO, IN) – Join us as we embark on a statewide We Love Our Library campaign in East Chicago. This statewide initiative brings awareness to each community that libraries are important. We are asking members of the community to place a sign in your front yard to show your support and advocacy for The East Chicago Public Library. The We Love Our Library campaign will run for approximately two weeks. The campaign is set to commence on Sunday, April 7 and will end on Saturday, April 20. This event is timed perfectly with the final weeks of the Indiana General Assembly, where legislators are making final decisions about support for libraries. Yard signs may be picked up beginning Monday, April 1 through Saturday, April 6 at the Main Library, 2401 E. Columbus Drive or at the Pastrick Branch, 1008 W. Chicago Avenue. Yard signs are free of charge. Please spread the word and join us in this very important initiative.
